Conejo Valley Free Meal Program - On the second Tuesday evening of every month, this month Tuesday, March 11, members of Epiphany prepare and serve dinner to those who are homeless or of very low income in our community.  For info or to sign up, contact Mary Lehr (818.707.6944).

Habitat for Humanity

Our Habitat for Humanity project is on the go!  All folks sixteen years and older are invited to come on out to the Simi Valley site and lend a hand.  At this time, the dates scheduled for an Epiphany team to pitch in, are continuing Saturdays, March 15, and April 12.  Please contact Tim Halligan, 805-379-9589, to sign up. 

Work on the home proceeds every Wed., Fri., and Saturday from 8 to 4.  Volunteer opportunities are available for any of these days by registering at the habitatventura.org web site.

Epiphany’s Annual Spuds Spectacular, – Sunday, March 9.  Join us for fun and fellowship after the 10 a.m. service at our celebratory hot potato lunch!  Suggested donation:  $5pp/$20 family. The money raised will benefit Outreach programs

Ministry Opportunity

Interested in becoming part of a creative, meaningful, occasional ministry?  Become a member of the now-forming Taizé Set-Up Crew. No previous experience required, but a fascination with candle light is a MUST!  Brian is looking for some fresh creative energy from a few individuals who will learn how the candlelit icon display and worship space have been set up for past Taizé services and explore new layouts and possibilities. Contact Brian: brian@bsdriscoll.com or (818) 404-8480

 Lenten Pilgrimage “The Teachings of Paul”, with the Rev. Dr. Jarvis Streeter, Professor of Religion and Chair of the Religion department at California Lutheran University.  The final class is this Wednesday evening March 5.  We will gather in the church for Evening Prayer at 6:30 p.m., share in a simple soup supper followed by the class.  Childcare is available upon request.  Please sign up with the church office.

The Sacrament of Confirmation with our Bishop will be Saturday, April 19 at our Cathedral in Los Angeles.  All adults (those who are, or soon will be 16 years or older) who wish to be received into the Episcopal Church and confirmed in the faith should call the Vicar, Hank Mitchel. Check with church office for times of classes.  Participation at church throughout Holy Week is essential.

The Sunday evening theological discussion group meets March 16 from 6:00 - 7:30 pm. We are reading Catherine Keller's On the Mystery: Discerning Divinity in Process.

EYG (Youth Group) –Tonight, we will continue our preparation and study for the Rite 13 Ceremony: Our Baptismal Covenant and the Role of Faith in our Journey to Adulthood.  Dinner will be provided.

The Loose End Group is looking for new members!  If you like to knit (or want to learn), or do crochet, needlepoint, applique, cross-stitch or some other handcraft, come to the second meeting on March 13, 9:30 to 11:30 in rm. 1.  This is a relaxed group for people who like handwork, talking and eating (mostly simultaneously).  Have questions? Diocesan Ministry Fair
This year’s all-diocese, ministry-sharing gathering will be held at Campbell Hall School in North Hollywood on Saturday, March 1, and will feature a morning forum with our Bishops, Jon Bruno, Chet Talton, Bob Anderson and Sergio Carranza regarding the current and future ministries of the church in our diocese.
