Outreach

Next Outreach Meeting Sunday, June 1 after church.

MANNA SUMMER RESTOCK SUNDAY, JUNE 1

MANNA, the Conejo Valley Food Bank, needs our support. Families who rely on school lunch and breakfast programs for their children will have increased need for help over the summer when school is not in session. And the need overall has increased while US Government food subsidy donations have decreased.  Fill an extra bag or two at the supermarket and bring it to church on June 1. Outreach volunteers will deliver your gifts on Tuesday the next week. Our focus for summer is breakfast and lunch items, but any of the supplies on the Manna Wish List will be appreciated any time.  Pick up and delivery of items is made after services each Sunday.

Conejo Valley Free Meal Program - On the second Tuesday evening of every month, next month Tuesday, June 10, members of Epiphany prepare and serve dinner to those who are homeless or of very low income in our community.  For info or to sign up, contact Mary Lehr (818.707.6944).

Blood Drive – Please help United Blood Services stock its shelves for Ventura County hospitals and patients! We are holding a blood drive Sunday, June 15 from 7:30 a.m. – 12:00 a.m.  Check with Cynthia after church to sign up.

Formation

Does the Bible really say THAT7:30-9:00 p.m.

Please join us for the last class in the 5-week series, taught by the Rev. Melissa McCarthy, in which we have been exploring the Bible, introducing major Biblical themes and characters, learning historical information about how the Bible came to be, as well as gaining helpful techniques for reading the Bible on your own.  Designed for anyone who is interested in learning and especially for those who know absolutely nothing about the Bible, this series has been relaxed, informative, and non-threatening!  Please contact the church office for more information.

The Epicenter

Epiphany’s new blog is a great way to stay connected during the busy work week!  Check it out at www.epiphanyepicenter.blogspot.com or via the church website.  Also, if you have not already done so, be sure to visit Epiphany’s web site (www.tcote.org) and sign up to receive regular announcements from your church.

Vacation Bible School is June 23 – 27.  Sign up after church!  If you have not already filled out the registration form, please see Karen.  We are also looking for volunteers to help with this fun event.  It is a great way to get to know other parishioners!  Planning meetings are Thursday, May 29 at 10:00 a.m. or 7:00 p.m.

Other Ongoing Happenings

"Loose Ends" -- the knitting, crocheting, needleworking, eating and talking group will have its last get together before summer Thursday, June 5.  We meet from 9:30 to 11:30 in Room 1.  Questions?  Contact Anna Milliken (310 4573162/jamilliken@mac.com.
